Dawn Keene | Fall 24

As part of my Graduate Sustainability Practicum at MCAD, I collaborated with Bollé Brands to support their successful pursuit of B Corp certification and advance their broader ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) goals. In addition to my practicum work, I also served as a Graphic and CMF Designer within the R&D department, where I helped integrate sustainability frameworks into the company’s product development processes.

This practicum let me combine academic frameworks with professional practice, applying systems thinking, lifecycle evaluation, and sustainable innovation strategies in a global product development environment. It strengthened my role as a designer committed to advancing responsible material choices, ethical sourcing, and sustainability leadership in the outdoor and eyewear industries.
